About me
I've been with IU Indianapolis for 18 years. Working on campus has been great! I love that I can go for a walk and never miss meeting someone new for a small chat or just give directions. The Office of Student Employment is my second position with IU Indianapolis. When I’m not working, I love going to the movies and spending time with my two dogs. I'm huge advocate for animals and the environment.
Why I chose IU Indianapolis
As a single mother with children in school, I was looking for a solid Indiana employer that offered consistency, good benefits, and flexibility. I love the campus environment and great people, as well as being around college students to keep me young.
My first college work experience
My first college work experience was receptionist for the IU Indianapolis Career Center. I loved greeting and directing students, which also allowed me to learn so much more about our campus and the people who worked and learned here. Over the 18 years I've been on campus, I've had a few different job titles and responsibilities, but the one thing I love most is the IU Indianapolis community.
