I am interested in fashion (aka love shopping) and I am a huge foodie. I often try new recipes or seek out hidden gem restaurants with friends. I originally chose CJ to be a crime scene investigator, but stayed in it for my interest in criminal law. Something unique about me is that I have family in New England, and I visit as often as I can. My favorite parts of New England are Boston, MA and Rhode Island and hope to live in either areas some day.
I chose IUPUI primarily for its unique urban campus. I am from Fishers but rarely spent time downtown before attending IUPUI. I have always wanted to live in a city so Indianapolis seemed like a great fit!
My first college work experience was during the end of my freshman spring semester in 2019 where I worked on a recruitment project for the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. From this project, I learned how to effectively communicate through both phone and email. My job consisted of reaching out to incoming students and answering any questions they had about O'Neill and IUPUI. I also gained meaningful connections to O'Neill staff which later helped me land a job as a O'Neill Student Success Assistant in the Student Services Office.
