About me
I chose my major because I really enjoy learning about what the economy is and how to predict what people are going to do. The best thing I've learned is that the economy is more than just how we spend money and consume resources, it's about how we all interact with one another to make life easier through innovating. Some hobbies I enjoy are reading books, playing video games, learning new recipes, and helping run my fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi.
Why I chose IUPUI
I chose IUPUI because of almost endless opportunities downtown Indianapolis can offer post-grad. Not only that, the small class sizes makes it to where you not only see the same professors, but you frequently have the same students in some classes—not making friends or becoming familiar with people is almost impossible.
My first college work experience
My first college work experience came from Vincennes University when I worked as a tour guide. The number one thing I enjoyed from that position was knowing where each building was and what you would find in them. It made me feel like I was very involved on campus, and any student could ask me to point them in the right direction. I definitely gained the ability to communicate effectively with anyone and having answers to questions people would have about the campus.
